Mr. Handy practices family and personal injury law. He graduated from Texas A&M in the 1950's and earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor Law School in 1965. He was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.

After graduation from law school he was an Assistant Attorney General in the Condemnation Section of the Texas Attorney General's Office. He entered private practice in Irving in 1966 and opened an office in Hurst in 1967 where he has practiced for the past 29 years.

He has served as an officer and director of the Family Law Section of the Tarrant County Bar Association.

He was in the first class certified by the State Board of Legal Specialization for Family Law.
